JACKSON, Tenn. — A major accomplishment is highlighted as former drug offenders graduate from Drug Treatment Court. Twelve graduates were honored, but only four were on hand to receive their diplomas. “They’re important because they reduce crime and they give people a second chance to make a change in their life and to get treatment and to get the help that they need to live successful lives,” said Haley Geeslin, director of Drug Treatment Court program. People in the program gave Judge Anderson a plaque to show their appreciation for giving them a chance for a normal life.
