Police: Shots fired into Brownsville home overnight

BROWNSVILLE, Tenn. — Police are investigating a report of shots fired through a bedroom window early Wednesday while a child was asleep inside. No one was injured in the shooting, according to the Brownsville Police Department. Around 3 a.m., someone fired two bullets through a bedroom window of an Evans Street home, according to police. Two adults and a child were asleep in the bedroom at the time of the shooting. Three other adults were asleep in the house. There are no suspects in the shooting at this time.
