Rushton Case Headed to Grand Jury

JACKSON, Tenn.- The case of a Jackson man charged with sexual battery on a 7-year-old female appeared in court, Tuesday. Richard Rushton appeared in General Sessions Court and was bound over to the Madison County Grand Jury. His bond remained at $100,000. Rushton was accused of inappropriately touching three female juveniles at a church on Mifflin Road in October. The sheriff’s department said they are investigating the allegations Rushton videotaped under the dresses of other females.
