Man in court accused of strangling fiancee
DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man was in court Monday after officers say he attacked his fiancee in the parking lot of a local hospital. According to court documents, David Mansfield strangled the victim with both hands from the front, then used his forearm to strangle her from the back. Officers say security video from the hospital supported the victim’s allegations. Mansfield is out of jail on $5,000 bond.
