Man accused of panhandling outside Jackson business
DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A Jackson man in court Thursday is charged with public intoxication and aggressive panhandling after a Wednesday scene on East Baltimore Street. Court papers say Thomas Reed followed a man inside the local Subway restaurant asking for money. Officers say he was unsteady on his feet and smelled like alcohol. Reed is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
