Medina Crash Sends Woman to Hospital

MEDINA, Tenn. – The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a rollover crash that sent a woman to the hospital. The wreck happened around 9 a.m. Wednesday in Medina after troopers said a woman driving east on the 45 Bypass fell asleep, and ran off the roadway. Troopers said she hit a guardrail, some signs, then a concrete curve, causing her car to rollover several times, and land in the parking lot of a Shell gas station in Medina. The THP said she was wearing her seat belt. The woman was transported to the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
