Firefighters rush to house fire in east Jackson
EAST JACKSON — Jackson firefighters rushed Thursday night to a home in the 300 block of Webster Street in east Jackson after the homeowner said a grease fire in the kitchen got out of control. Dark smoke was seen pouring from the home around 7:30 p.m. It is unclear how much damage was done, but the homeowner was able to get out safely.
