Generals sweep Mobile for fifth straight
MOBILE, Ala. – The Jackson Generals extended their longest winning streak of the season on Monday against Mobile. The 6-2 victory against the Bay Bears gives Jackson their fifth straight victory and longest winning streak since 2013. Tyler Smith recorded his second-straight game with three runs, going 3-for-5 with three runs batted in. The Generals have the day off on Tuesday and resume action at the Ballpark at Jackson on Wednesday against the Birmingham Barons.
