Early morning wreck claims one life
LEXINGTON, Tenn. — An early morning crash claims the life of one person in Lexington. According to Lexington police, a car was experiencing mechanical difficulties around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday and was stopped in the 16000 block of North Broad Street. Officers say the car was approached from behind and hit by a tractor-trailer. Investigators say the driver of the truck did not see the car in the street. Police say one person was killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported.
