Officials gather to mark Men’s Health Week

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — Local officials gathered Wednesday at a downtown business to mark National Men’s Health Week. The Lift Wellness Center hosted “Wear Blue” in recognition of the month dedicated to focusing on health issues affecting men. Mike Leventhal, executive director of the Tennessee Men’s Health Network, and State Rep. Jimmy Eldridge were on site with Lift staff to discuss the purpose of the week. Mayor Jerry Gist and County Mayor Jimmy Harris read a joint proclamation recognizing Men’s Health Week in Jackson and Madison County.
