Jackson Teen Arrested in Home Burglary

JACKSON, Tenn. – A Jackson teenager has been arrested, accused of breaking into a house. Officers were called out to Shadow Lawn Drive Thursday after they said someone reported seeing the teen kick in the door to a house. According to a news release, officers called out to the suspect, who gave up before they had to release a police dog. Officers said the homeowner later discovered the teen hid a handgun inside the home, before being arrested by police. Police charged the 17-year-old with aggravated burglary, vandalism, and unlawful possession of a weapon.
