Union City police, ATF investigate online church threats

UNION CITY, Tenn. — Police in Union City are investigating recent threats toward local churches posted online. Officers say they have tracked the IP address linked to the person responsible for the threats posted on the website Topix. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is assisting in the investigation. Second Baptist Church, Calvary Baptist Church and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church all were mentioned in the threats.
