DOWNTOWN JACKSON — The third suspect in the Monday robbery of an east Jackson store has been arrested and appeared Friday in city court. Rakeem Coleman is accused of being one of three men who robbed a convenience store in the 200 bock of Hale Street, according to an affidavit. Police say Coleman and Deontae Hudson entered the store with their faces covered and robbed the store and owner at gunpoint while a third masked man identified as Rocky White came in behind the gunmen to help with the robbery. The men are accused of taking the cash drawer along with cigarettes, cell phones and cash from the owner’s wallet. The three fled from the store on foot and were later identified by a witness, the document states. Coleman is charged with aggravated robbery. He is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
