Man charged with throwing bleach at girlfriend during argument

DOWNTOWN JACKSON — A man was in city court Friday on charges of attacking his girlfriend and throwing bleach at her. A woman told police she and Wade Beard, her boyfriend of two years, were arguing over money just after 12 a.m. Friday when Beard pushed her, grabbed her, threw two cups of bleach at her and threw objects across a table at her, according to court papers. Beard is charged with simple domestic assault. He is being held in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
