Power outages affecting homes from Madison Co. to Obion Co.

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Storms continue to produce outages throughout Gibson Electric Membership Corporation’s eight-county service area, according to a release from the provider. The company is reporting 14 outages affecting 403 homes and businesses from north Madison County to Obion County. The largest new outage began at 5:46 p.m. and is affecting 122 members in and around Gibson, according to the release. Three more new outages are affecting 80 members in and around Medina, 32 members south of Medina and 52 members east of Rutherford. For real-time outage information, members can visit Gibson EMC’s website at www.gibsonemc.com and select “Outage Map” at the top right side of the home page. Members also can link to Gibson EMC’s Facebook page and Twitter account for service restoration updates. Gibson EMC is a not-for-profit, member-owned and member-controlled electric cooperative serving 35,000 members in Crockett, Dyer, Gibson, Haywood, Lake, Lauderdale, Madison and Obion counties.
