JACKSON, Tenn. — Officials gathered Tuesday morning for the groundbreaking ceremony for Aspell Recovery Center’s new men’s residential dormitory. The new facility will be located at 351 North Highland Avenue and will have the capacity to house 20 men as they undergo treatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders, according to a release from the center. The dormitory is the culmination of a 7-year effort by the staff and board of Aspell to expand services to ensure the needs of the community are met, the release states. The agency has provided services to the area since 1979 and is recognized as a leading provider in addiction and co-occurring disorders.
