Man accused of attacking, pouring bleach on woman

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police arrested a man Tuesday night for allegedly attacking a woman and pouring bleach on her. Court papers say Damonte Bailey called the victim names and hit her in the head, threw bleach on her, and put her in a headlock as she tried to get away. Officers who responded to the scene reported smelling bleach on the victim. Bailey is being held in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
