Milan police search for accused gunman

MILAN, Tenn. — The search is on for the gunman accused of shooting a man in the stomach in Milan. Officers said it happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday. A 20-year-old man was hit twice in the stomach and taken to Milan General Hospital before being airlifted to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, according to police. Officers said he was in stable condition at last report. The early morning shooting left some neighbors upset. “I guess it makes me feel angry,” said John Flowers, a Milan resident. “There is a million and three other ways to take care of disputes.” If you have information that can help investigators, call Milan police at 731-686-3309.
