Man convicted of attempted murder in 2013 shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson man charged in a 2013 shooting that left a teen paralyzed has been found guilty. Jonquarious Cunningham was convicted Wednesday of attempted second-degree murder in the July 21, 2013, shooting of the teenager. Cunningham was 16 at the time of the shooting but was tried as an adult. He was originally charged with attempted first-degree murder. He is scheduled to be sentenced at 8 a.m. Aug. 7.
