Police: Man charged with aggravated assault
UNION CITY, Tenn.- Union City police have a man in custody, charged with aggravated assault. Reports indicate it happened Thursday afternoon when officers responded to a call from a woman, saying her boyfriend, Michael Sneed was threatening her with a pocket knife. Officers said the woman told them Sneed apparently thought she was having an affair with someone else. The report also said he later went to the kitchen, and grabbed a bigger knife. Officers took Sneed to jail, where he is still being held.
