Weakley Co. deputies make second arrest in burglary

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — A second man is charged after allegedly admitting to driving the getaway car during a home burglary. Kody Kimble, 25, of Martin is charged in connection with the July 21 break-in of an Old Troy Road home near Martin after he allegedly confessed to driving the car used in the burglary, according to the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department. Kimble also admitted to taking money from the other suspect, Christopher Lane, according to the department. Lane, 25, of Sharon was arrested Thursday and charged with aggravated burglary, theft over $1,000 and violation of parole after items were found in his residence that linked him to the break-in, according to the department. Investigators say they are still gathering evidence about other people who helped Lane hide after the stolen items were recovered from his house.
