Man accused of attacking man who allegedly spanked his daughter
JACKSON, Tenn. — A man was in city court Thursday on accusations of assaulting a man who supposedly spanked his daughter. Michael Martez Johnson is charged with simple assault after he reportedly tackled a man who was sitting in his house and then punched him three times in the face, according to an affidavit. The victim told police Johnson was mad at him because Johnson’s daughter had told him he had spanked her. Johnson is free on a $1,000 bond.
