JACKSON, Tenn. — Bands from all over are taking the stage in the Hub City to celebrate the genre of music that was born here. The 15 annual International Rockabilly Festival is under way in downtown Jackson. The event will feature music on the museum stage Friday night and Saturday afternoon and evening. On Sunday it moves to the First United Methodist Church. Local, area and international bands will perform the style of music that got its start in West Tennessee. The festival is free, and organizers say to bring your lawn chairs and come on down.
