DYERSBURG, Tenn. – The fifth annual Sorghum Valley Christmas kicked off Thursday evening. Sorghum Valley is an antique village that displays thousands of items that hold value to the City of Dyersburg. With over 50 decorated trees, carolers, thousands of lights, decorations, crafts, and of course a visit from Santa, Sorghum Valley is perfect for the entire family. Elise Jackson, tevent coordinator, says, “It’s for everything, I think adults will enjoy it, even though it’s really set up for the kids. Adults will have a good time as well because each room is stationed with different bits of history.” Event coordinators have worked with Dyer County for five years and they say this they are expecting more guests than ever. The event will run from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., December 6th, 7th, and 8th.
