4 charged with boating under influence on Kentucky Lake

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. — Officials cracked down this weekend on alcohol-related offenses on Kentucky Lake, resulting in four arrests for boating under the influence. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s district-wide enforcement efforts also included two arrests for underage drinking, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Those arrested for BUI were Stanton Jones of Dyersburg; John Helmic of Dover; Tyler Martin of Pollard, Ark.; and David Phillips, according to the sheriff’s office. The two arrested for underage drinking were Colton Curlin, 20, of Union City and Shannon Powers, 19, of Troy.
