Fire safety workshop for deaf & hearing impaired

The Jackson Fire Department is hosting a workshop Saturday to focus on home fire safety for the deaf and hearing impaired.
Free smoke alarms with flashing lights and bed shakers will be available to the first 150 households that pre-register for the event, according to a release. Space is limited, so registration is required.
