Wife accused of hitting husband in face with pan

JACKSON, Tenn. — A woman went before a judge Wednesday on charges of assaulting her husband and hitting him in the face with a kitchen pan. Jaqueline Lightfoot is accused of assaulting her husband Tuesday morning at their North Royal Street apartment, according to an affidavit. She allegedly bit him on the chest, cut him on both arms and hit him in the face with a pan, the documents states. Police say the man had severe lacerations and was bleeding from the mouth and forehead. Lightfoot is charged with aggravated domestic assault. Her bond is set at $5,000.
