Union City police: Wife charged with stabbing husband

UNION CITY, Tenn. — A woman is facing an assault charge after police say she stabbed her husband and burned him with a cigarette. Kaycee Brady is charged with aggravated assault after the alleged attack. Police responded Thursday afternoon to reports of an argument and people screaming at a Kellar Street apartment, according to a report from the Union City Police Department. Officers spoke with the woman’s husband who told them they had been in an altercation when she grabbed a knife and stabbed him in his left arm, according to the report. She also is accused of burning him with a cigarette and scratching him across his back. The husband was transported to the hospital, and Brady was taken into custody for the assault charge.
