Police: Woman stole electronics from former roommate

JACKSON, Tenn. — A woman is facing a burglary charge after allegedly stealing electronics from her former roommate. Nora Blackstock is charged with aggravated burglary after police say she stole a laptop computer and a tablet computer, according to an affidavit. A man reported the items missing June 28 from the living room of his Central Avenue residence. The man and his other roommates followed a GPS tracking signal on the laptop to a residence in Cedar Grove, according to the affidavit. They saw a vehicle belonging to Blackstock, their former roommate, and then confronted her. Blackstock returned the tablet and admitted she had taken the laptop and sold it, the document states. Court papers say she was able to get the laptop back and returned it the same day. Blackstock had not lived at the residence with the former roommate for about three months, according to the affidavit. She is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
