Union City police investigate armed robbery

UNION CITY, Tenn. — Police are investigating a Monday armed robbery after two victims reported being robbed at gunpoint. The men told police they were sitting in a vehicle near the corner of Mercer Street and Nash Street when two black males approached them, according to a report from the Union City Police Department. The two gunmen then got into the back seat of the vehicle and told the victims to give them everything they had while holding a gun to one of the men’s back, according to the report. The victims said the pair also took the keys to the vehicle.
