Tenn. agencies to get nearly $18M in grants for safer roadways
State officials say more than 370 agencies will receive grant awards totaling nearly $18 million to improve safety on Tennessee roadways.
Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner John Schroer says the grants help fund a variety of enforcement, legal and educational initiatives across the state, according to the Associated Press.
