CROCKETT COUNTY, Tenn. — The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department has recovered $3,000 worth of construction equipment after it was stolen from a small business owner. Jason Patterson arrived to his job site one morning to find most of his construction gear missing. “I showed up Monday morning to the job site and walked up to my construction trailer, and the door was wide open,” Patterson said. According to the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department, the men responsible for the theft were former employees of Patterson. David Booher and Joshua Moulton were arrested and charged with auto burglary, felony theft and criminal trespassing. The two men apparently decided to steal equipment Sunday night after being fired on Saturday. All equipment was returned to Patterson. Patterson is thankful the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department was able to recover his material. “We’re up and running today due to the fast work and allegiance of the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department,” he said. Both Booher and Moulton are being held at the Crockett County Jail.
