JACKSON, Tenn. — Tennessee’s Secretary of State Tre Hargett stopped by Jackson State Community College Thursday as part of the GoVoteTN voter registration initiative. Dozens of students came out to learn about registering to vote. JSCC officials say this event was a perfect fit for their students. “Young people more than any others are interested in change and having a say, and this is the way we can have a say,” said Steve Cornelison, director of student activities at JSCC. A link to the GoVoteTN website, where residents can check their voter status or access a registration form, can be found on our website’s Seen on 7 section.
