JACKSON Tenn.- Jackson police arrested two men, after they say a homeowner caught the suspects breaking into his east Jackson home, and chased them down Wednesday morning. Todd Allen says he came home from work around 8:15 a.m., and found a unfamiliar car in his driveway. Allen saw two men running from his house and realized it was a break in. “They were running from the house and they jumped in their truck,” Allen recalled. That is when he decided to chase the burglars while dialing 911. The car chase ended on North Highland Ave., where Jackson police arrested, Terry Wallace, 45, and Lloyd Ragan, 50, both of Jackson. Each is are charged with burglary, theft of property under $500, and possession of burglary tools. Allen said chasing the men down might not have been a smart plan, but the dangers didn’t cross his mind. “I really wasn’t thinking,” he said. “My adrenaline was flowing so high about trying to get this person.” Wallace and Ragan will appear in court on Thursday morning.
