Superintendent Interviews Begin Monday Afternoon
Monday afternoon begins three days of interviews in the Jackson-Madison County School System’s search for a new superintendent. Interviews get underway Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. There are six candidates in the running. Monday afternoon, members are meeting with the former superintendent of Lee County, Florida Schools, Doctor James Browder and current interim superintendent, Buddy White. On Tuesday, board ,members will meet with Doctor Beth Wright and Terrance Martin. On Wednesday, the final two candidates, Doctor Damon Cathey and Doctor Craig Fiegel will meet with school leaders. Thursday, board members will select their final candidates that afternoon at 5.
