DRC Closes Doors in Dyer and Gibson Counties, Thursday

If you are a recent storm victim in Dyer or Gibson Counties and have not registered for disaster assistance with FEMA, time is running out. The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Dyersburg and in Milan will close their doors for good at the close of business, Thursday, which is 6 p.m. After Thursday, storm victims in those counties can still register in Jackson. The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center is located in the Center of Independent Living, along Hollywood Drive. The center is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. However, it will be closed Monday, in observance of the 4th of July.
