The case of a Jackson father whose two young toddlers were found in dirty diapers playing in the street as he slept could be dismissed. During his preliminary hearing Thursday, Christopher David Hamilton was ordered back to court in six months. The judge told Hamilton if he stays out of trouble during that time, the charge of child neglect and endangerment will be dismissed. His 1 and 3-year-olds were found by a neighbor on June 7, playing in the street at the intersection of Prospect and Walnut in midtown Jackson. Investigators said both children are currently with their mother.
