Fayette Co. Deputies Search for Missing Man

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help finding a missing elderly man from Arlington. According to deputies, George Nicholson, 82, left his home, Wednesday, at around 10 a.m. headed for the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, Miss. Nicholson has not been seen or heard from since that time. Investigators say there is no evidence that he ever arrived in Tunica. Nicholson is in the early stages of dementia. He does not have a cell phone. He was last seen driving a red 2005 GMC Sierra pickup with Tennessee license 779JLP. Also, the passenger mirror is busted and held together with black tape. Nicholson is 6 feet tall and weighs 169 pounds. He has gray hair and has brown eyes. He was wearing a blue and white short sleeve checkered shirt, blue jeans and a camouflage hat, when he disappeared.
