Fireworks are Illegal in Some Parts of West Tennessee

For many, a 4th of July celebration is not complete without a lighting a few bottle rockets, roman candles and even sparklers. But by doing so, you could be breaking the law. In some area of West Tennessee, buying fireworks and setting them off is illegal. In fact, fireworks are prohibited in Jackson and Madison County. If you are unsure of the laws regarding fireworks in your city or county, call either you police or sheriff’s department.
