Fayette County Still Searching for Missing Man

Reported sightings of the missing elderly man from Fayette County, Thursday has investigators asking for anyone out on the road to keep an eye out for him. Family members said they are now offering a $5,000 reward for anyone who can safely locate him. George Nicholson, 82, who deputies said is in the early stages of dementia left his house in Arlington, Wednesday morning, headed for Tunica, Mississippi, but never made it. Investigators said he is believed to have stopped at least twice to ask for directions in the Memphis area. The last sighting was around 5, Thursday afternoon as he headed north on Interstate 55, near Hernando, Mississippi. If you see his red 2005 GMC Sierra pickup with Tennessee license 779-JLP, call the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department. One other thing, the passenger side mirror of his truck is being held together with black tape.
