Two Henry County residents, that were celebrating Independence Day on the river, are now fighting for their lives in the hospital after a boating accident. Officials with the TWRA said it happened along the Big Sandy River, when a 29-year-old Henry County man and his son 11 year old son were riding together on a jet ski. Officials said the duo suddenly stopped moving and their friends, who were closely following them on their own jet ski, slammed into the back of them. Officials also said the two were treated in Henry County but were later flown to the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville where they are listed in serious condition.
