Superintendent Candidate Meetings this Week

The first of two town hall meetings will be held, Wednesday where the public can ask questions of the two Jackson-Madison County school superintendent finalists. The first meeting will be with Terrence Martin, current associate superintendent of the Des Moines, Iowa Public School System. His interview will begin at 4, Wednesday afternoon at city hall in the council room. Then on Thursday, board members will interview Beth Wright, superintendent of the Florence County School District Three in South Carolina. Once again, the meetings are open to the public and questions will be taken from the audience. Those who attend will also be able to give written responses for both candidates.
