Lake County Makes Arrests in Sex Offender Roundup

A sweep, checking sex offender compliance lands a half dozen Northwest Tennessee residents in jail. According to investigators, the Lake County Sheriff’s Department and U.S. Marshals conducted the check of 20 individuals. Three men, William Burkett, Ricky Morgan and John Slattery were arrested for non-compliance with state law. Investigators are still looking for three others. The Ridgley Police Department and the Tiptonville Police Department also took part in the operation.
