Police ID Body Found in Truck; Died of Natural Causes

Jackson police have identified the man found dead in a vehicle at a south Jackson restaurant. According to a news release, James Vernon Ramey, 43, of Pinson was found in a truck in the parking lot of the McDonald‘s on South Highland Avenue, Sunday evening. Police found no signs of foul play near the scene or inside the truck. After examination, the county medical examiner‘s office reported to police that Ramey appeared to have died of natural causes early Sunday morning.
