Three Men Accused of Crime Spree, Two Face Additional Charges

Deangelo White, 20, Grico Clark, 18, and Jordan Curry, 18, appeared in Jackson City Court charged in connection with the alleged beating of a man and robbery of his girlfriend, early Monday morning. All three were charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, aggravated kidnapping, aggravated burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a weapon, aggravated robbery and evading arrest. Clark and Curry also face charges in unrelated cases. Jordan Curry was charged with first degree murder. He is accused of killing Marketis Bailey on Holland Avenue on the afternoon of May 30. Curry is being held without bond at the Madison County Jail. Clark faces a charge of attempted especially aggravated robbery. According to court documents, the alleged victim reported picking up a man, who he identified as Grico Clark after looking through photos, and driving him to a park on Hollywood Drive where the two had sex. Afterward, the victim claims Clark demanded all of his money and then shot him in the shoulder as the victim drove off. Clark is being held without bond, pending a hearing concerning a request to revoke his probation on a previous charge. Deangelo White is being held in the Madison County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bond.
