Kentucky Taking Trooper Applications
Applications to become a Kentucky State Police trooper are being taken starting Friday.
People who are interested can download an application at the state police website, where there is also available a study guide for the written test and a list of testing dates, times and locations, as well as other information.
The application deadlines vary by location but the first one is Sept. 2, which is for the Sept. 9 test at Florence. Other testing sites are Louisville, Richmond, Bowling Green, Morehead and Murray.
The next cadet class is scheduled to being in May.
