Presson Released to TDOC

Former Madison County Constable Mike Presson was released from the Madison County jail, Monday and placed in the custody of the state prison system. Earlier this year, the 67-year-old was convicted of 22 separate counts involving the rape and sexual abuse of a young girl back in 2009. Presson was sentenced was sentenced to 35 years in prison without the possibility of parole. Monday, he was taken to the Tennessee Department of Corrections in Henning where he will continue to serve his sentence.
