Drug Suspect Sought by Task Force

Officers with the West Tennessee Drug Task Force are asking for the public’s help finding a wanted drug suspect. According to officers, Ronald Scott Cunningham, 32, of Milan, has eluded officers since Friday, when they searched his home in the 300 block of Idlewild-Hollyleaf Rd. and found meth making products and drug paraphernalia. “If he flees the state of Tennessee, we will pursue him outside the state to bring him back to face these charges,” said Special Agent in Charge Donny Blackwell. Cunningham is wanted on the following five drug charges: manufacturing of methamphetamine, manufacturing of marijuana, promotion of meth manufacturing, initiation of a process intended to result in the manufacture of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to Blackwell, some of the charges could land him behind bars for up to 30 years. “These are serious manufacturing charges, up to class B felony,” Blackwell said. Blackwell said Cunningham does have a history of evading arrest, however he has not been involved in any violent crimes. Officers are asking anyone who may know where he is or who he is with to contact the Gibson County Sheriff’s Department at (731) 855-1121 or the West Tennessee Drug Task Force at (731) 784-0555.
