TN Family Dies In Arkansas Crash
Arkansas State Police say four Tennessee residents were killed and an infant and three others were injured in a crash on Interstate 30.
Officials say the 7:30 a.m. Monday crash occurred when an eastbound SUV drifted into the median and rolled, ejecting seven people.
The dead include 46-year-old Hortencia Rivera, 38-year-old Maria Rios, 50-year-old Francisco Pena, all of Nashville, Tenn., and 69-year-old Floretina Blanco of Antioch, Tenn. The injured include a 2-month-old infant and children ages 9 and 13. Also hurt was 29-year-old Irene Pena of Antioch, who the police report says was driving the vehicle.
The report says none of the people killed were wearing seat belts.
