One of Union City’s biggest employers is forming a new joint business venture with an Oklahoma company. Williams Sausage and Potter Sausage of Durant, Oklahoma have formed a 50/50 joint venture. The move will give both companies new capital to expand their product lines. The president of Williams Sausage said the Union City plant is already seeing the benefits with a new expansion that will eventually mean 25 new jobs at the Obion County plant.
